"(Are you the boy known as Ryu?)" one of the black-clad ninjas asked, naturally in japanese.
"(I am,)" Ryu replied. The ninja motioned him forward. Ryu did so as Ken stepped over with the rest of the crowd, which was composed mainly of people from the village. Ryu sat his bag down that held his clothes and other supplies, then tightened his white head band.
"(Well wheres my opponent?)" Ryu wondered. Ryu blinked, and not even a fraction of a second later opened his eyes to find his opponent standing in front of him on the other side of the clearing.
"Whoa!" Ken exclaimed. "How the helld he do that?"
Ryu looked over his opponent. He wore ninja attire that was much like the others, but he had netting under the black clothing, and had no sleeves. His black hair was a little longer than Ryus, and hung out a little bit from his mask. But the thing that really caught Ryus attention was the chen strapped onto the mans right hand.
"(Geki verses Ryu,)" an old man said. " Ryu charged and spun his foot forward at Geki. But to Ryus surprise
Geki had moved. Ryu turned to find Gekis foot slam into Ryus face and
sending sailing to the ground. Ryu flipped back up to his feet only to
be met by three ninja stars zooming towards him. Ryu dodged two, the
third hitting his fighting glove and only pricking Ryus hand. Ryu
pulled out the ninja star, and waited for Geki to strike. He was not
disappointed, and Geki charged toward Ryu. But Geki moved so quickly
that Ryu could barely block the attacks. Finally, Geki penetrated Ryus
defense and cut into the boys arm with his chen.
"Argh!" Ryu cried out as the chen struck. He examined the wound as Geki
disengaged. It wasnt too bad, but it still hurt badly, and might leave
a small scar.
Geki attacked again, swinging his claw left and right with lightning
speed. Ryu dodged it as best he could, but Geki still managed to cut
him multiple times. Finally, Geki grew frustrated, and swung his foot
into Ryus side. Ryu winced and stepped back, but Geki had found his
opening. He jumped forward at Ryu, who ducked the attack. Geki made up
for his miss by raking Ryus back with his chen. The cut was much
deeper than the first, and Ryu roared in agony as his gi was stained
crimson. But Ryu wasnt about to give up. He dashed forward, punching
at Geki. But Geki once again mysteriously appeared behind Ryu and
kicked the young Shotokan in the back, directly on the wound. Ryu
gritted his teeth in pain as he fell to the
ground.
"(He moves...almost inhumanly...fast,)" Ryu thought. "(But I can beat
him...I think. I just have to stay one step ahead of him.)"
Ryu got back up to his feet, pain running up and down his vertebrae.
Geki dashed forward, swinging his chen at Ryus head. Ryu ducked low
and put his weight into the lower part of Gekis legs, tripping the
ninja. Geki was surprised by this, but still easily rolled back up to
his feet. But Ryu planned for Geki to quickly rise from the trip, and he
sent his foot crashing down on Gekis shoulder. Geki fell to the
ground, grabbing his arm in pain. But he was up to his feet again in
seconds, and attacked Ryu with a vengence. Ryu blocked the shots as
best he could, trying to go beyond the pain and find an opening. Geki
hesitated for a second, and Ryu smiled, attacking. He rushed forward
and rammed his elbow into Gekis chest while pounding his elbow into
Gekis stomach. He knocked the wind out of Geki, and took advantage of
Gekis moment of weakness. He grabbed Gekis shirt and threw him
forward, throwing him into the woods. He heard a loud thud, and smiled,
knowing Gekis back had just met one of the trees. Ryu waited for the
ninja to attack, but no movement was made. Suddenly, it hit Ryu and he
spun around and was met by Geki. He jumped to the side to avoid another
attack, but Geki managed to inflict a flesh wound on Ryus cheek with
his chen. Ryu quickly countered by swinging his foot at Geki. Geki
blocked it, but Ryu proceeded to hit the ninja with a one-two punch
combination, then with an uppercut to the jaw. Geki stepped back,
grabbing his bleeding jaw in pain. It was probably broken, and Geki
wouldnt be speaking for a long time. But then again, Geki had not made
a sound the whole match. But finally he did, as Ryu dashed in and
attacked. Geki swung his weaponless fist at him, but the attack was
sloppy. Ryu grabbed the arm and twisted it, then sent his other elbow
crashing down on it and forcing Geki to make the first sound hed made
the whole match. The sound of his breaking arm. But to Ryus surprise,
Geki did not scream, but it was clear he was in pain, for he grabbed his
arm, and fell to his knees.
"Kia!" Ryu cried, spinning around and kicking Geki in the face. Geki
skidded across the ground, obviously in horrible pain. But he got up to
his feet, his eyes narrowing. He glared at Ryu, then attacked, swinging
his chen at Ryu wildly. By the time he had finished his attack. Ryus
gi was more red then white, and cuts covered his body.
"(If I dont do something, quick, Im dead,)" Ryu thought as Geki
circled around him. "(And Geki could come at me from any direction.
The only way I can stop him is by attacking from all directions. But I
cant do that! Wait...maybe I can. I just hope I don't kill him.)"
Ryu watched Geki intently as he let his chi gather within him. He just
hoped he could charge up enough before Geki attacked. Suddenly, Geki
attacked, ready to deliver the killing blow.
"Tatsumaki..." Ryu said, jumping into the air.
"Oh God, no!" Ken gasped. "Ryu, dont!"
"Senpuukyaku!"
Ryu unleashed all of his chi as he swung around in the air with the
speed of a hurricane, his foot outstretched. His foot twirled around
three times, hitting Geki every time. Geki came crashing to the ground
bleeding horribly, and was motionless.
