(Thursday - March 5, 1998) *I am truly sorry about the delay in updates to this site, but because of the certain circumstances that I currently find myself in I won't be able to update my site for a while. This duration my last about two months but but I'm hoping fate will be kind and lessen my separation from the internet. As soon as I land regular net access I'll be quick to post the news here. My new e-mail address is listed and linked at the bottom of this page, and remember, your opinions are important to me. *Besides the frames and revisions to the galleries, new features have been added, like this page for example. There is also a guessing game for those that are intrested, but you must have frames to play it. You can find it in the at the bottom of the frame to the left of this page, and when you click on it, there will be instructions on what to do and a collage of screen captures of only the eyes of thirteen famous fighters. Think you can guess them all? *Updates have been made to "Peep The Websites" (my links page), the Galleries, and the Fighters Index (with major contributions from Ultima & ORION, thanks!), not to mention that I've softened and darkened a lot of the backgrounds so the text on this site will be much easier to read. Those who visited my site previously will know what I'm talking about. *There's a new exhibit at the Fighters Index that features a proposal for a crossover game called "The King of Fighters Vs. Street Fighter". (I wrote a several Speculation Reviews on it at Gouki's Page of Whatever. If you're intrested in reading them, look for the link to GPOW on the Main Index page and Peep The Websites.) Right Now, the section contains only two pages; one that shows what the character select screen would look like, and the other page lists the roster of characters. WARNING: Both pages contain many different pictures and will take quite a while for all of them to load in. So if your still curious, have a 28.8 Kbps modem, and a bit of patience, by all means, give "KoF Vs. SF" a good browsing! *Chrono Trigger Omega no longer stands alone! There's are three new FanFics in town, one of which is "Kusanagi Flames, Yagami Tears", beautifully written by writer and artist Aimo. It is based on the "The King of Fighters" series, and although it does focus on Kyo Kusanagi & Iori Yagami, you'll be sure to find all sorts of appearances from other SNK characters. At the moment, it stands at Eight chapters, but Chapter Nine is on the way. Even if you're a diehard Capcom Fighting Game fanatic, check this fan-fic out anyway! And when you're done, don't forget to visit her website, where she not not only hosts her own fan-fics, but provides illustrations for it and hosts a gallery of stunning fighting game fan-art. You'll find links to "Aimo's Lil' Fan Art Gallery" on each page of her story, which is in the FanFic Archive. *The other FanFics recently added are not only based on Street Fighter, but written by the same talented writer, ORION. The first of the two is "Street Fighter: The Start", a creative re-telling of the original arcade classic, Street Fighter! At the moment, it sports a prologue and 11 chapters, none of which are very long, but they are very entertaining (I especially like the way Ken and Ryu are portrayed!). Look for Chapter 12 soon! The other fanfiction is called "Honor Thy Father", and it contains no chapters at all. Instead it is a full length fan-fic, with more of a dramatic, darker tone than it's predecessor, SF: The Start. It makes great reading, especially if you dig 'Showdowns'! I don't want to give anything away, but I'll admit that out all the stories ORION has written, "Honor Thy Father" is my running fav. Check 'em out at the FanFic Archive! *Chapter 1 of "Chrono Trigger Omega", "Morning Star", is finally here! For those who have been awaiting Demona and Macbeth's appearance, this chapter will finally introduce them into the world of Chrono Trigger Omega. Check the FanFic Archive for the four completed installments of CTO Episode #1: Nightrunner. By the way, half of my character description for Demona now exists in CTO's Character List & Descriptions; if your a Demona fan check it out and let me know if I'm accurate or not on what I written so far. *Next week's galleries will consist of new exhibitions in the ever present Dragon Ball and Street Fighter galleries, and will also have artwork shown from The King of Fighters, DarkStalkers, Sailor Moon, Robotech, Albert Oddessy, and Gargoyles! Stay tuned, fighters! *That's all for now, but when you visit check this page for news of updates to this site, for that is the main purpose of the "Tidbits Page". |
